How to Care for Your Reactor Watch
While we believe a Reactor to be the best built watch on the planet, some simple basic maintenance will ensure that it stays in top condition. The most important first step is to read through your Care & Use manual, which generally can be found under the magnetic seal at the bottom of your package. If yours is missing, or if you have misplaced it, you can download a copy below.
Here are a few tips to keep your watch functioning at its best:
• Check to ensure that the crown is screwed tightly down to the case each time you put the watch on, before submerging it in water, and after changing the time or date.
• Rinse the watch thoroughly in fresh water after use in salt water or any dirty or dusty environment. If your watch is equipped with a rotating bezel, spin the bezel through at least three complete rotations under running water to flush out any salt or debris.
• When it is time for a battery change, have the work done by a dealer who is qualified to work on highly water resistant watches, or better yet, send it to us. We'll replace the battery, pressure test, clean and polish the watch, and send it back to you for a flat $20 fee. If it is within the first two years since purchase, this service is free, including return shipping. Click for service instructions.
