Ellis Hobbs In September 2007 Hobbs set a NFL record for the longest kickoff return, 108 yards, against the New York Jets. Over the course of three years in the NFL Hobbs has started in 33 of 47 regular season games, and returned over 60 kickoffs. During the 2008 season he led the AFC with 1,281 return yards, coming second in the NFL. His career is growing at a vast rate, and this can be said about his personal life as well because Hobbs has become a huge supporter of the Kids Café Program at the Boys and Girls Club in Chelsea, Massachusetts as well as the Annual Ellis Hobbs Invitational Track and Field Tournament in DeSoto, TX.
